The Recruiter serves as a liaison with the company staff in all HR matters but specializes in the areas of recruiting and hiring. This position reports to upper management. 

 This is a leadership role and interfacing with management at 20 branch locations, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal communication skills are required. 

Basic Responsibilities 

  • Pursue opportunities to promote long term recruiting success
  • Coordinate with department managers the creation and maintenance of job descriptions
  • Obtain position approval, post and track all newly open positions
  • Source qualified candidates for all levels of positions, utilizing most effective methods available including social media
  • Screen all on-line applications and occasionally conduct initial interviews in cooperation with hiring managers
  • Manage job boards to include: Glassdoor, Monster, ZipRecruiter, and Indeed
  • Manage all incoming resumes and ATS
  • Promote positions on social media
  • Other duties as assigned 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • BS degree in English, Language Arts, Journalism, Communications, or Creative Writing
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in recruiting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Previous experience with HRIS and Applicant tracking systems
  • Experience utilizing a wide range of internal and external recruiting strategies including social media
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point required
  • Compensation: DOE
